The Benchmade Bugout offers a lightweight, ergonomic build designed with everyday carry and general outdoor use in mind. Its high-performance CPM-S30V blade sports a partial swedge to provide a finer point, and comes fitted with blue anodised dual thumb studs for easy one-handed operation. The comfortable Grivory handle has been textured on either side for added grip without being abrasive. Comes complete with an oversized lanyard hole and reversible deep-carry clip for convenient EDC.

Ordered my first benchmade knife from knifedepot, once I placed the order I received my knife in 2 days time via express post.
Knifedepot also sent me a key ring that’s a little pry bar/ bottle opener and a cleaning cloth for my knife, they both are very handy.
The bugout 535 is amazing, it is super light, if you have it in your pocket, you need to remember to remove it before washing your pants, because you can’t feel it in your pocket it’s that slim and light.
The axis lock is amazing, super strong, you can open the knife with 1 hand, and close it with 1 hand. It opens very smoothly and fast, the blade holds its edge, and it’s just an all round beautiful knife. It’s definitely made me interested in other benchmade models now 😊.

Great knife, a little on the expensive side, the design is incredibly intuitive and well thought out. For its purpose it is a relatively rugged knife with an unrivalled lightweight design. I will warn you though, dont buy this if you want a premium fidget/display knife, the plastic scales may dissapoint you as they are specifically intended for lightweight EDC, they can be swapped quite easily. Keeps a good edge with the great steel and the flex isnt as bad as people say it is
