Featuring a hammerhead opposite the blade, and a water-resistant gear storage stick inside the handle, hosting nearly 3 metres of paracord and two storage compartments for a mini lighter, firestarter, or dry tinder, the Gerber bushcraft axe addresses two primary needs: starting fire; and building shelter. It has a single-piece corrosion resistant axe head with a built-in relief for deeper cuts with less effort. The innovative overstrike guard adds protection when the target is missed, while the rubber overmould grip at the bottom of the axe head provides additional choke-up cutting utility.
