FatCarbon Handle Material
FAT Carbon Materials has the most unique and high quality carbon fibre materials. Perfect for knife making. The amazing patterns and metal infused resins look incredible on any project.
Elmax Steel Is Good For Knives
Elmax steel is very hard with excellent edge retention and wear resistance. Then add its corrosion resistance, and you win. What really makes it unique is that, somehow, despite its high hardness, it is also quite tough, and it is not as hard to grind as other super steels.
Clutch Lock
The Clutch lock is designed at the handle, with a unique appearance and high safety when used. It’s not only a locking mechanism but a set of systems. The Clutch lock system includes the Clutch bar, adjustable Gemini Spring system, and DED system. The Clutch bar is the lock bar that locks the knife and the one you pull to unlock the knife. The Gemini Spring system is designed with two omega springs and 5 holes on each side of the handle liners. That doesn’t mean the Gemini Spring system has only 5 levels to adjust but five times five, therefore 25 customisable options! The strongest level can be picked for the thumb side and the third level for the weaker index finger on the other side. The DED system is short for the D-shape Easy Disassembling system, which is the most important part of the whole locking system since the easy disassembly simplifies the adjustment of the springs.

Drop bear is a great knife and blue carbon looks great. Slightly unimpressed with Elmax, S30, S35 and 20cv chip less and are easier to sharpen IMO.

There is no doubt this is one of the best EDC knives on the market and at a great price from Knife Depot. The Elmax blade has very impressive qualities and is a very tough SS, the clutch lock is robust and smooth and the fat carbon handles feel good in the hand. What I found disappointing was the pattern on the scales; not at all what I expected from those in the advertised photos. It should be stated that the scales will not be as pictured! As always, Knife Depot service is excellent and knives arrived undamaged. Can I suggest adding a comment box to checkout for any instructions?
